Hi Alldid a search for cruise control problems and could not find a solution to my problem. Something went wrong. I have the same code and no cruise, going to get this part. Where can I find the subject line to the thread or thread that explains how to change out the part?

Several posters have had problems with this switch and it seems to have fixed their problem with intermitent or no cruise control. I did not bleed the brakes or anything that detailed since it only lost a few drops of fluid. Could the scan refer to the cruise control switch on the master brake cylinder, Ford part #3L3Z9F924AB? The switch seems to be about $20 but the transducer is about $100. Or does the brake light switch even have ANY connection to making the cruise control work correctly? Like to hear more about the harness from someone.
They replaced the switch and retested. Scan code read P0703brake switch B input ck tbut the actual brake switch at top of pedal is working fine.no loose connections and all brake lights function properly.
You cannot paste images directly. Could the brake light switch located on the upper part of the brake pedal arm activate the brake lights correctly, but not be doing what it needs to do to let the cruise work right? You have given me the idea to check the wiring harness and wiring coming directly to switch on the master cylinderthanks for that. Clear editor. spedyR6did you have to do anything else after installing your new switch on the brake master cylinder? Replaced the front BPA the front sensor on the master cylinder and its now fixed.

And my parts guy tells me that the recall part is cheaper.
I am getting a p0703 Brake Switch B input circuit and when watching the boo & bpa pid only the boo changes states when pressing the brake pedal and bpa stays on all the time. My actual brake light switch seems to be working fine, so I just ordered the pressure switch that was replaced on your truckRock Auto has the OEM part for about $23 plus a few dollars in shippingdefinitely less expensive than the dealer, so I don't have much to lose even if that doesn't fix the problem.
If you go to FordPartsGiant.com, you can search by your VIN then go to group chassis and subgroup brakes-hydraulics then click on get info to pull up a picture. Sounds like the exact problem as mine. Pump the brakes to activiate the switch? Still have the same problemcruise didn't work when I first tried it after replacing switch, but did work later in day. I took it right out and got up to a decent speed to test it and it has worked ever since. I honestly don't remember if I disconnected the batteries, but I know I cleared the code through my Edge monitor.

I havent had a problem with the cruise for 9,000 miles. About to take a drive across the country and not having cruise control is out of the question. Go to any auto parts site and look up the brake master. Yes it did and answers that question SWEET! As I posted in the other thread, takes about 10 mins to change it out and I only lost a few drops of fluid and I have not had any issues since. CISCO, By They retrieved a P0703 code and monitored the PIDS and found that the brake pressure apply switch readings were erratic. Now when I press on the brake pedalboth read on and when I release the brake pedal both BPA & BOO read off. So I went to parts and asked for the brake applied switch and they gave me the sensor that goes on rear of the master cylinder and has three wires going to it and the brake applied switch according to the wiring diagrams is showing only a 2 pin connector, is this right? I thought in one of the other posts someone said they had a broken wire or something similar running to the switch. Anyone know? Latest update: Changed the cruise control switch located on the brake master cylinder (Part #SW 6349 or 3L3Z-9F924), cleared the P0703 code (brake switch B input) and went for a test drive. That's the mysteryafter I cleared the code and tested it, it worked at first and then notbut it has not thrown any new codesnot even the P0703 code I got when it first acted up.
