Now I was able to order a motor from the rockshed for the lortone wihich was a much higher quality for around 15 vbucks and replace it..it works like a champ now and is very quiet and smooth. Did you mark the barrel and count how many times it went around? How many revolutions per minute? I have a CE tumbler.
