I had this Wireless Carplay/Android module installed on my 202 GMC Denali 1500 Sierra truck today. WAMS is providing a brand new $800 radio (same functionality that is in 2021 trucks) and a $300 sd card. Q: How do I know if this upgrade will work for me? I took off the front interior door trim and tapped into the rear speaker lines using a dual channel line converter (which required me to do it to both rear speakers). Sounded sooo much better and the bass was much tighter even without the sub. I really like being able to Apple-Map my destination and just lay my phone on the wireless charger and head out. Since I installed this module everything works perfectly there is never a drop or a connection issue, and I have factory navigation now on top of that. I wouldnt recommend those other Adapters you find on Facebook, this is the real deal factory solution and it just works awesome support too. Shelton WAMS has good instructions on how to do the swap. Overall, I really like the product. They answered my emails immediately and the problem was solved in no time. It's still all boxed up in my garage I have a for sale thread somewhere on here that has the pics of it all. Id like to add a sub/amp.

The unit resides below the glove box so you must remove the lower insulator under the glove box, remove a small inverter, possibly unplug a harness to move out of the way then unplug the old unit release it from its mount then install the new unit.
