The staff was friendly and catching a cab to and from was not a problem. The place is immaculate, well maintained, and just lovely! A short and inexpensive cab ride over to Chankanaab Beach and then to a quick and easy check in process with the excursion host.

This excursion was well worth it! It was very easy and much cheaper that doing the excursion from the cruise ship.

We had a large group do this same one and we all had a great time. This was our 3rd visit to Chankanaab and it was the worst one. However, it is located within the Marine National Park of Cozumel, so theres some truth to the national park description. This excursion was by far the most fun I have ever had in my life hands down. If you go here don't miss out on snorkeling. The water was very choppy the day we went which made it hard to snorkel and the water was cold as it was December. I was afraid that the park might be contaminated with non-biodegradable suntan lotion. Everyone had a great time. Food and drink vendors walked the beach and were by far some the best mannered ones we have encountered in our travels. That said, the beach is a bit rocky, so you'll need to be attentive. We did the all inclusive which included food and beverages. Sounds like you had a great time and got some nice pictures. We have been to this resort before to swim with dolphins. It wasn't crowded and we had plenty to do. If you go there, bring your camera. No hassle. The snorkeling itself was good.

We really enjoyed everything about this location. I would highly recommend wearing swim shoes cause its really rocky and slippery at first but gets much better when u get further out. Met Omar at the entrance who got us set up with wristbands quick and efficient. You also might spot some of the famed iguanas of Chankanaab. Luckily I had a bottle of aloe in my stateroom. Beautiful views everywhere with friendly staff. Children may enjoy playing in the sand at the water's edge.Once you get hungry, there is a buffet lunch included for you to enjoy with fajitas, chicken tacos, chicken enchiladas, grilled fish, salad, fruit, nachos and salsa along with 2 beers per person, water and soft drinks.
