I wouldn't buy this unless it was on mega discount (which it was). This scent is very glamorous and modern. I don't understand what this has in common with the original Alien. Do you ever spend a few minutes reading through numerous reviews of a fragrance and just giggle at how little you find to agree with in many of them? But wait, coconut essence is also there too on the top notes. I can't remember if I reviewed this one or not so here goes. At first sniff I have to admit, I wasn't all that impressed. It unfortunately smells like sunscreen on me.
Not overdone at all for a Mugler.Lovely note of coconut and silky woods. 
Not getting that lovely bergamot, but ample jasmine, vanilla and cashmeran (a bit musky). Love at first spritz! I think Mugler hung the moon..until LOral took over. It may have longevity but so does a chemical burn.
I dont understand what happened. The only one of those (and there are a lot) that had notes that appealed to me were those of Alien Goddess. Alien goddess is a totally new fragrance including bergamot essence, jasmine, bourbon vanilla and Cashmere. Its not very original but still has something unique about it. It stays pretty close to the skin, but it lasts a long time (5-7 hours). At first I thought that it smells silly and cheap (and I still think so) but the more I smelt my sample, the more it grew on me. On me, the coconut isn't nearly as strong. Now that being said I do like it but I dont like it as much as the original Alien of course nor do I get as many compliments from this as I do the original Alien but I think thats to be expected. I like it, and I appreciate that they added the shiso, but I don't love it as there are times when it smells almost Febreze/dry sheet-ish on me. In true Mugler fashion, this tickles my nose upon first spray but quickly warms up and settles down. It's not a bad scent. Im keeping it because I love the bottle so much! Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . Its cute but nothing like Alien, and I have no idea why such a cozy scent is being marketed with Bjork and desert landscapes. The dry down is more powdery mixed with an almond like note. very fresh and happy!
Wouldn't buy it again tho. Fills a room even afters days, especially on coats. When she ran out of her sample I immediately got her a 60ml tester for near 40% off retail at one of the discount sites. 
This one goes too powdery sunscreen on me. The opening is a strong blast of unripe coconut fruit and its green shell that contains the coconut water. Smells a lot like something familiar on the dry down, I guess it has a very well used dna and nothing from the OG Alien. To me, this smells bright and intriguing, something I would wear regularly, and I did find myself gravitating to it on my arm often versus another perfume I was testing: YSL Libre. Take Me Out (Orange) has a suntan lotion vibe, similar to Coppertone and the ilk. This just smells like La Nuit Tresor Nude which smells great but so has nothing to do with Alien! L'oral should be ashamed of what they've done to this brand. This one is definitely gonna be a summer staple for me. I love it! This is so crowd-pleasing that it becomes generic. It's heavenly vanilla and powder, hugs and warmth. Kinda feels like a cozy blanket to me once dried down. I often wonder at what point will Mugler cease releasing flankers of Angel and Alien? This is unique definitely! The plus of this fragrance is that for a beach fragrance it does last a good 5 or 6 hours and like every Mugler it does project. The only problem for me its longevity, on me this perfume stays for 3 hours max then you can only smell it on the skin for an extra hour or do.
And theres also a very large amount of cashmeran which to me presents almost the same as musk on my skin. This is a scent you wear and smell for yourself, not anyone else. Lasted about 3 hours. This smells like watching fireworks on a warm summer night. Because you, my dear, are the coldest b in the room. The jasmine was beautiful though the entire time but that synthetic note hurt my nose I returned the perfume ( luckily I havent openned ) and exchanged by Mon Guerlain Intense instead that I LOVED. This combo is superb! Perfumes: 73,887 This captures the attention of everyone within 50 feet. Im typically a fan of Mugler but this is not it. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. I look forward to testing it. Overall, no Alien DNA detected. After reading the notes on here I can see why it has coconut water in the notes . 10/10 would reccomend. I think this is more of a cold weather scent for me. I'm a 40 Yo male and bought this delicious gourmand juice for myself, although this fragrance leans towards feminine. Tough to stick with the Mugler theme. Which makes me sad, because Mugler used to be a house of extreme, polarizing perfumes with bold, strong concepts. i mean i understand it i guesssss, but its not for me. For myself, I wasn't a fan of Alien, so, a quick spray of Alien Goddess at Sephora was a pleasant surprise. i love it! ( i wish that the coconut note was more prominent. If you are familiar with that smell, you'll know what to expect with this release. Absolutely not! It smells nice and coconutty on my sister, though, so I gave it to her. I personally wont be buying a full size. But there was always something compelling about it. I'm at my most homosexual while wearing this perfume. It's not at all similar to Alien either. Alien doesnt give me a head or smell like somewhat hell but this perfume is something different like my mom. In short, they're just too much for me. The fragrance is available as 30, 60 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum. It is quite sweet without being fruity, depending on sweet subdued florals and vanilla. The Bourbon note hits different, Im obsessed. Luminous and sparkling, TAKE ME OUT is twisted by the secret P note to release a surging energy that bathes you in light. As someone who hates summer, this isnt for me. tropical, powdery vanillic & coconutty. This helped me pin point exactly what this scent reminds me of: Hawaiian Tropic! Clean, light, sunscreeny coconut. ummm. I do not enjoy powdery coconut scent, so I return my bottle. Smells nice but too girly for me even though it has one of my favorite notes in it. It not even remotely close to smelling like it's sisters in the ALIEN family! At first when you spray it, it is a very pretty "soft" coconut milky scent. Top notes are Coconut Water and Bergamot; middle notes are Jasmine and Heliotrope; base notes are Bourbon Vanilla and Cashmeran. I imagine an abadoned, beautiful white sandy sea shore on a summer dawn, early morning, when the tempreture not too hight yet. Starts off quite nice, then it starts smelling of sunscreen, and not in the nice way. I also love the fact that it's unique, yet I think it's underappreciated in some ways. You spilled a jasmine colada ice cream cone on your cropped wool sweater-- why are you wearing a sweater??? My go to for sunny beach days. "It smelled too sweet for me like an orange Popsicle.". This doesnt have any of the original alien dna to me, because the original is straight honeysuckles to my nose and this one isnt lol. I can smell all the notes in this. i tried this for the first time during the winter, liked it upon the first spray but it settled on my skin in an unpleasant way. This fragrance is like her beachy, floral, vanilla step sister.
Very similar to Soleil Blanc but less sweet and lighter on the citrusy notes. Actually scrap this off after about half hour. I say that because I weirdly smell a tiny bit of gun powder?? On one hand, it is a pretty lovely fragrance - vanilla coconut, but not overpowering. Sadly this quickly turns into a skin scent and the dry down is very soft and faint. the bergamot in the opening is a tad screechy and idk metallic(?)
Alien Goddess, the new Mugler perfume from the Alien collection, targets Generation-Z; a younger population yet to meet Mugler as a brand. Crowd pleasers please crowds for a reason! It does smell like sunscreen, which would be a plus to me, if it wasnt so synthetic. My apologies to the two commenters we had on this article earlier, we had to take the article down temporarily to make sure we could unveil the news about the cologne. Definitely not cheap smelling at all. 
Goddess opens with a coconut-almond accord. It's almost camp. Then all of a sudden, I get a really strong lime note out of nowhere. I was also intrigued by its reviews. After 30 minutes of settling into the skin it does smell alot more tolerable. I honestly dont like this perfume because when I first sprayed it on my skin it was like coconut hell dude. I went to buy it, and decided to try it a second time before I do. I honestly couldn't smell it too well at first, just a very faint coconut and vanilla. This can't be Mugler. Creamy, coconut vanilla that's just so perfectly balanced.
I received my purse size today and I recognized it as soon as I sprayed it, coconut lime verbena from BBW. I find Angel and Aura weird as well, and I like them, but I just can't take the opening of Alien Goddess. the coconut water and bergamot give it a subtle summery edge, the vanilla and cashmeran smooth it out beautifully. I find Take me Out to be the least interesting of all the colors, it lacks a bit of personality. There's no writing on it and it has very universal look, I love it. Gorgeous. i received a sample of this today and i was unfortunately but not surprisingly very underwhelmed and disappointed. Pairs amazingly with bergamot. It seems to me that any fragrance that relies on coconut is bound to be divisive. First time I tried it I loved the vanilla and coconut on my skin. I really like the coconut water. Ive been layering with a dupe of Creed Virgin Island Water for my own little tropical vacation in cool damp Ireland . This smells like everything youve ever smelled at Bath & Body Works. Judging by the color of the juice some may find this a bit feminine but I believe is a true unisex as it still retains the Mugler cologne DNA but sweeter without the heavy floral note that "take me out" have.
Now its over two hours later and its settled down into a heliotrope scent with coconut underneath. I can think of at least 12 scents with the same smell. Also coconut water smell is super realistic in this one which I find interesting but overall I wish that it could be more deep and edgy :(, To me, this smells incredibly similar to At The Beach by BBW! I love the original alien its my signature scent and go to fragrance. I'm honestly shocked how many bad reviews are all over the internet about this new Mugler release. I would think Plum or Plumeria, as I can almost sense some kind of sweet freshening element in the deepest depths, striving to provide a little lift and juiciness. Smells like 20 other fragrances out there. It isn't particularly groundbreaking though. This one feels very tame and not like it belongs to Mugler, or Alien, for that matter. Nothing more. A first impression that led to an obsession. Out of these three, Tresor Nude is probably the best performance, Alien Goddess is a better scent blend. Creamy and powdery. If you like this try la belle Fleur terrible same coconut feeling. You could definitely get a similar scent from a drug store body spray. Floral coconut water and sunscreen. It reminds me of good memories. Still, I was pleasantly surprised knowing about the simplicity. This is the only one I like from the angel and alien line.
A hint of suntan oil and bubble bath after a while. Super feminine. This made me sick to my stomach. Its not unique, but its inoffensive and nice enough to have until my bottle runs out. The orange blossom is really nice and well done, and provides a nice little mood boost. Geez, even a listing of the notes make me doze. If youve smelled G by harajuku lovers, then youve smelled this. I think L'eau is a very pretty scent, and I like Alien Goddess even more. Very mainstream and in the new category of vanillas, not the 90s soapy vanilla but the custardy sweet stuff. And the scent is so weak it's not worth the price at all.
The Mugler magic is gone, folks.
Since it launched recently, I figured if I fell in love with it, Id be able to find it easily- unlike my beloved, long discontinued Eau de Star by Mugler.
