Brasstown Valley Resort is the 503-acre (2.04km2) home to a links style championship golf course which has hosted numerous tournaments including the LPGA Futures. Lush fairways and very good greens. Greens had not recovered very well from being aerated 4 weeks earlier. You also have a separate living area and stone stacked gas fireplace in the bedroom. I love the fact there are no homes on the course and you get a very secluded and nature-filled golf experience.

The layout is challenging with numerous bunkers around the greens. You cannot visit Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa without spending time at Equani Spa, a sanctuary for healing and restoration. Also the amount of rain recently had three or four holes that were cartpath only along with the two or three that are always cartpath only so if you have trouble walking across fairways I would give it some time to dry out but I love the course and had a great time even though the weather was bad. The property is adjacent to Brasstown Bald, the highest mountain in Georgia. We left a cart on 18 cart path to unload bags next to the parking lot. They cater to groups of various sizes. Not sure if well be back. You will love the kitchen, large wood-burning fireplaces in the living area, and the wraparound covered decks bringing you closer to nature. Brasstown Stables has five miles of horse trails winding through hardwood forests, through open fields and beside crystal-clear streams. Beautiful, well stocked clubhouse. The lodge was beautiful. Course is in rough shape. It was just that nice! Only a few steps from our room lead us to fun memory making experiences for us to share and talk about forever. We played games, cooked, went walking down by the river and just got caughtup on all the things we had all been doing. Annual Golf trip with 8 guys, decided to give Blue Ridge a look this year. It turns out, there are dozens of wineries here, many of them within a short drive from Brasstown Valley.
