Makita tools offer performance on par with other brands while beating them hands-down when it comes to ergonomics and longevity.

Milwaukee's Sawzall still rules the roost and their impacts and drills are hard to beat. But I did drink the koolaid and have a small collection of 12v Milwaukee. Everything I have is Milwaukee M18 and, since I have lots of it as well as chargers and batteries, I probably won't ever buy anything else. If you are not already on our email list you will NOT be added. They have served me well.

Smaller and cheaper than the M18, faster, more powerful, longer lasting than the M12. For mechanical stuff, Milwaukee wins. It may not display this or other websites correctly. How do they stack up against Dewalt and Milwaukee and Ryobi and the rest? The M12 one works the best of any of those expanders I've tried anyway (for the usual 1/2-1"). The M18 was slower on the smaller sizes of PEX both could do and the Uponor one is way too expensive and slower still. I personally feel the JDM stuff is some of the best quality.
