I got tired of them turning into. In this head to head battle we're going to test ease of application, gloss, slickness, visual appeal and durability. On the other hand the Xtreme Topper had incredible looks and record breaking slikness. I was really excited to test it out, because so far we've not found any products that protect from UVA. Adams doesnt seem to be the same since he sold out. Agreed, I doubted graphene was in any of it but it came in my mystery box and I was pleasantly surprised. With so many washes in our test it's hard to find a comparable easy to use spray product in terms of sheer durability to washes. The Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 performed well in our tests with excellent slickness and durability in the category. A product that is very hard to use would score a -10 while a product that is as easy to use as a product in its category could be would get a +10. I've never really used Checmical Guys stuff much, but this sealant was intreguing. I award 0.3 points for every 100th of a s below 0.38. Billed as a detail spray with hydrophobic spray wax properties we will put it head to head against Turtle Wax Seal N Shine. A -10 would be a product that makes the test panel look very poor while a +10 would be the best my panel could look. They're often quirky and sometimes quite impressive. Overall I think the Turtle was the wax I would choose for most applications on daily drivers just due to the better looks and amazing durability, albeit not quite as durable as the Slick & Slide. High slickness makes for easier cleanup and less abrasion to the underlying paint. These are a new type of product that provide a coating and panel prep in a wipe form. One product really stood out for durability, which was the ExoForma Graphene Detailer at 24 washes. Between the two I would definitely recommend the graphene version. Given the low price point this is an exciting offering.
In today's competition the Rust-Oleum won out. Can't properly dry your car with cold towels. While it didn't beat the Rust-Olemu product on overall score or durability, it was very easy to use when spraying just a little. The graphene made a huge difference though, with the most passes ever in the durability test and even the most gloss. I keep waiting for detail spray for the detail spray. Not really a huge deal if using this as a detailer on top of another product. Sonax (289300-755) Leather Foam - 13.02 oz.
Is the new improved Seal N Shine better than the original? The slickness, water beading and overall look of the wax were good. Unfortunately I didn't find that it lived up in several categories including durability, slickness, and visual appeal. I would suggest using another product as there is little to love about JetSeal, but watch the video and judge for yourself! This spray coating claims to offer 8-12 months of protection and is said to be safe on most surfaces. Is an expensive wax really better than a cheap wax from the parts store? I was hoping the glow would be more pronounced, but it takes a closer look to see exactly what's happening. Today we find out if ceramic infusion makes them better. I saw it at AutoZone the other day. The trailer hasn't seen road use.mainly used for storage. The product is very similar to a baby wipe and allows for an easy application on top of a clean freshly washed vehicle. Both products excelled at slickness, but Xtreme really won out in the looks department. I expected it to be similar to Wolfgang or Jescar, but unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. I was very happy with how both of these products worked and while they're not the top products in their categories, the results are solid and they're easy to use products. While the product was incredibly easy to use and very slick, it just didn't hold up when put through my wash tests. It has such amazing durability that it might just be better than a coating. Slickness was the only category where the product let us down with a very low score and a potential hazard for paint swirling. Unfortunately I didn't find that it was much different from the old formula. The gloss was a bit of a let down, but the product still looked visually acceptable. In today's test HydroSilex Recharge and Wolfgang Uber ceramic spray coatings go head to head in an array of tests. This is the original formula of Fusso from Soft99 and it made for an amazing car detailing experience today. I think if you think of it as a spray sealant or silica spray it's probably a good product, but billing it as a coating is putting it into category it can't compete in. This product claims to be a hassle free coating that is meant to be a revenue generator for professional detailers. On slickness the Wolfgang absolutely killed it while the Meguiar's was just ok. This company holds patents and has some very serious claims to performance when it comes to UV protection. The application process was perfect and the visual appeal of the product was clearly better than the control. This is one of the most requested products in recent weeks. I think the glow feature is a bit of a gimmick, but everything else about this coating is great. New results come in as I perform added testing. I will also make an annual video in late spring/early summer to recommend top products. However, the Adam's just didn't look that great in my opinion. Not to mention the price nearly doubled. Just as I wrapped filming I had at least 3 people ask me about it. On the other hand H2O Guard & Gloss was slicker and can be purchased cheap by the 5 gallon drum and almost as durable. This panel is then treated with a wax and cured for 24 hours. This product promises the best of all worlds, an easy application, high gloss, a year plus of durability, high contact angle beading, direct sunlight application, and usability on all surfaces. This particular product explicitly claims UVA protection, but unfortunately I was still unable to demonstrate it with this product either. A pH neutral shampoo is used and itis the same shampoo (Adam's Blue) for each test.
